That game was about like watching paint dry while listening to fingers on the black board while getting a root canal. I'm not even sure we can qualify for the Thursday play in game at Arch Madness. Just a sorry excuse of a game. And it's not as if ISU played a dominate game either. They have a talented roster but how often do they show up and play a whole game. ISU was very fortunate they were playing us. Hopefully after the last game of the year in 2 weeks the third and final domino "resigns".

I couldn't go but I expected this after watching the Loyola game. Nobody seemed to care and I thought then they have all called it a season
Just watching the faces and body language during timeouts, it was evident they all were just waiting for the season to get over
I think our team is bad but it's certainly not all on the players

Dave Reynolds article-
And Kirk Wessler wastes a bit more ink repeating the obvious, that Bradley isn't very good. He vainly keeps trying to suggest the bad basketball at Bradley has been going on for "17 years", which is ridiculous. Within these last 17 years Bradley has had mostly winning seasons, a Sweet 16 season, record attendance, record revenues, record membership in the Braves Club, membership in the Braves Scholarship Society, and every other measure of success.
But he carefully avoided placing any blame, as he cowardly does.

Terrible small & apathetic "crowd" for our rivalry game --lost to ISU 11 of the last 13 meetings (when they have been only mediocre)-- 20 plus loss seasons 4/5 years---permanent ticket punched for Thursday in St. Louis--Past time to collect your big contract check Geno--and box up your office supplies and follow Glasser & Cross out of town! Bye Bye---Bradley football--undefeated again this year

He must have missed all those loud, raucous sellouts, a Sweet Sixteen run and a dozen 20 win seasons and post-season appearances between them in that interval.

That makes for a combined 19-54 (.260) record against all MVC opponents. That is especially bad in view of how weak the MVC has become.

I sat and watched 20 dunks as they goofed around-- realize these are uncontested dunks -- I can do that in my driveway too. I watched ISU warm up on the other end without noticing any dunks. Muller sat there watching his kids warmup -- I didn't see Geno doing the same.
It looked like Bradley kids were just at an open gym showing off -- maybe they should be taking the shots they take in the game -- or practicing free throws.
There were a couple of kids taking it seriously but not many.
I heard geno say he thought the team was tight -- that team isn't tight -- they plain don't have the discipline to be tight.
Now dunking in warmups didn't lose the game but it's probably symbolic of how disciplined they are in other aspects of preparation.

but didn't we pursue Geno after failing to sign any of the candidates supplied by the search firm?
Didn't our people go after him simply because their opinion was that he WAS a good coach...
If that's the case it speaks volumes for the ability of "our people" to see straight.
