Evansville and Missouri State went toe to toe for just about the whole game but the Purple Aces pulled it out in the end 73-66. The game featured 16 lead changes and 13 ties for the 1st 30 minutes. Missouri State had a 10 minute stretch with no FG's that allowed Evansville to get a 9 point 2nd half lead. MSU was able to cut it to 3 late but Evansville made their last 7 FT's to secure the win. Both teams made 24 FG's, Evansville made one more 3 and was 21-27 on FT's while MSU was 15-21. Evansville had 20 assists and just 3 turnovers. DJ Ballentine had 20 and Adam Wing had 17 for Evansville while Camyn Boone had 21 for MSU.
