  • Andrew Warren joins Santa Cruz Warriors of the D-League

Andrew Warren, who had played the first half of the NBA D-League with the Reno Big Horns, has just been acquired by the Santa Cruz Warriors-

In limited playing time with Reno, Andrew averaged 5.8 points and 2.1 rebounds per game. Santa Cruz is not a bad place to be!

Good for Andrew. The guy could really put the ball in the basket. And like you said, there are worse places to be than California..

      Good Luck 'Drew

Good for Andrew! Hope he has great success!

Is the D-League team in Santa Cruz associated with the Golden State Warriors?

Used to ride the beach boardwalk roller coaster (the original wooden one) at Santa Cruz, Ca when I was growing up in near by San Jose Ca in the 60's.

      Awesome!

Yes, the Santa Cruz warriors are the D-League affiliate of the Golden State Warriors. They are actually fully owned and operated by the Golden State Warriors. Since moving to Santa Cruz, the Warriors have been consistently among the most financially successful teams in the D-League.
