    Link - shattered backboard?

    Again this season, the video intro has the very short clip of a player dunking on a fast break and shattering the backboard...
    If my memory serves me - I believe that was Jerry Thomas back in the Hersey Hawkins era...

    DOES ANYONE HAVE A COPY OF THAT VIDEO, or a link to it anywhere?

      My memory connects Harold McMath with shattering a backboard, though when I Googled it what showed up was that he and Hasan Houston were showered with glass when Loyola's Kevin Spewer broke one and caused a 76-minute delay. http://news.google.com/newspapers?ni...g=4153,7782391

      I really think Harold shattered one, too, though.
