and tougher and tougher to win the MVC...
and tougher and tougher to land the better players...etc, etc...

I don't care if it is tougher - there's still a LOT of schools that ARE getting it done, including FGCU, UC-Davis, Xavier, Cleveland State, SIUE (women), InSU baseball, etc... ...where all the guys we ran out of here now are getting it done!
The problem isn't that we didn't have the personnel to get it done or that we weren't able to get it done..
the problem is we had people in charge who foolishly chose to play personal games with our entire Athletic Department to stroke their own egos.
Now, lets get rid of all of them and get top people back in place..

The challenges universities and television face, regarding the decline of interest in college basketball across the country, have nothing to do with former and current employees at Bradley university.

That's just the way baseball is. They should not try to speed it up.

          Ren-Col

I think I had heard that the previous leadership (Coach Ford) had suggested that it was ok to play the games at Ren-Col? If that it is true it is basically giving up on the future of the program. Ren-Col vs Carver Arena just makes our BB team look like it is downsizing. Perhaps one of the reasons that they thought this might be good is that it would mask the huge drop in attendance? Or could it be that those who were behind Ren-Col would bask in its glory? Could it be that what he saw in practice would not translate into games, so lets play where we practice? It's a wonderful facility and I am sure it is a great selling tool, but to downsize the venue to soften or mask failure is the wrong direction. Carver Arena and the rest of the Civic Center is big time. When I drive down and see it like this week, I am proud of where the Braves play. I agree to get the deal done. Bradley belongs there. When the program generates interest, the income will begin to rise and all will be well.

Last season, when we lost to Augustana at home, I thought, our program has fallen further than I had thought. Come On, Man!!

We are on our way back. If the new team struggles some next year, it is only because of rebuilding. I expect that. I also have said, many time on here, anything is better than what we had.

Go Coach Wardle, Go Chris Reynold and good luck to all the new Braves. We are on our way back, even if we slide a little, and I don't think we are going to slide much at all.

"Manning said he was unaware of the complaints.
“I’ve been on the board five years and this is the first time I’ve heard

...that despite Dr. Cross claiming we had difficulty getting the dates we wanted -
the Civic Center people said that they had not spoken to him in a year and that he'd never mentioned it to them.

.. I’ve talked to .. (Bradley athletics director) Dr. (Michael) Cross and said to call me if you need anything.
Other than our initial discussions, I never heard anything back.”

Bradley is in the final year of a five-year agreement with the Civic Center.
...(Civic Center general manager) Jim Wetherington is waiting for Dr. Cross to say, ‘Let’s get together,
here’s my list of things I want to see happen.’ Frankly, that discussion hasn’t taken place yet.
glad this inexplicable communication catastrophe seems finally to be solved by Dr. Chris Reynolds...

Dr. Reynolds has only been here 6 months but obviously he's getting things done...

              He said last night...

“We’ve had good productive meetings with the Civic Center people..."
and he's locked in on every game down there with more Saturdays & more weekend games than ever!

Kudos to Dr. Chris Reynolds & Brian Wardle (and Dr. Liberty)
