  • An open letter to Doug Stewart and the Board of Trustees

The situation at Bradley has now reached a disastrous level and appears to be out of control. Those of you with any sense of responsibility at all must take immediate action or BU may very well degenerate into something none of us want. You must act quickly and decisively.
    1. We no longer have a President...She must be replaced without delay.
    2. Our #2 administrator is leaving within the next few weeks.
    3. Our enrollment is down.
    4. Our financial situation has significantly degenerated and we face some very high additional costs due to buy outs of contracts.
    5. Clearly, faculty morale is at an all time low and we now risk losing key faculty people.
    6. Our once great nationally recognized athletic programs are at an all time low and we need to replace our Athletic Director ASAP.
    7. Our Men's Basketball program is at the lowest ebb in our schools history and clearly is an embarrassment to BU. Game attendance is now about 3,000 to 3,500 down from 9,000+ in past years.

In effect, Bradley is becoming a second rate school. Our only hope now rests with all of you and your willingness to step up, take control, and act quickly and decisively.

And can someone please tell me why every single thing that arises and every news item is reported here on this msg board first, far more accurately and long before anyone else knows a thing, by complete amateurs who must be hearing this stuff on the street.
Our board of governors as well as our newspaper reporters must be in a very deep sleep or be in complete denial.
    We miss you Coach Buescher

I've seen the light...but I think it's na??ve to think that people who don't say anything in public don't know anything what's going on?

Just because something is posted on a message board by someone doesn't mean they are the first to know about it

no, but the question was asked...how do a bunch of average Joe's have every story hours to days before the media gets wind of them, even to the point of predicting what's going to happen next - e.g the Glasser resignation, the financial reports from the Board, etc. - even down to the very hour the press release was issued, recruits on campus, or the arrests, which are matters of public info if you just look.
PJS ought to layoff their staff and buy a subscription to BradleyFans (it does not cost as much)
