That's the simultaneous sound of Bradley hitting rock bottom, crashing into last place, and season ticket sales plummeting to worst levels since Bradley played at the Hewitt Hall in the early 1920's
Josh played hard but can't win with one guy playing
Rumors around the water cooler at work have LaHood possibly becoming our next BU president to bail us out--and several major donors (staunch democrats) claim they will bail out and stop supporting BU if that ever happens? What a cluster
Geno obviously knows he is gone--wondering if the Jerrance Howard rumors that I am now hearing have any validity It is past time for a change!!

Reason: sp
Ray LaHood served as much for the Democrats as Republicans...
anyway - the Dems had their chance - now it's time for the other guys...
I agree with you tornado--I think Ray had supporters on both sides of the aisle --but there are those would will never support him because of his political background
Regarding your question about Lahood and Jerrance-
The Bradley Trustees have had contact with Lahood, but it does not look like that is going to happen now.
Jerrance Howard will be a serious candidate for Bradley's next coach.
.. there are those would will never support him because of his political background
don't buy it - did Democrats boycott the Olympics when Mitt Romney ran them
and when they named the Student Center after Bob Michel the liberals still come in and hang around

What bothers me most is my basic philosophy that says: "Nothing is ever so bad that it cannot get worse."

Again--I personally am with you---but obviously our social circles do not contain some of the same "local democrats" (who would never support Ray)

I lean more left than right, but University President shouldn't be a political issue. Ray Lahood served well, and supports BU. The letter after his name shouldn't matter unless its JD, PhD, etc.

I am a "dyed in the wool" liberal Democrat and I'd strongly support Secretary LaHood.
thanks ollie - and were LaHood a Democrat or even if Shalikashvili were here and wanted the job (he served under the Democrats) I would look at his qualifications not his political party.
If indeed certain Dems wanna play party politics with this, it is indeed petty & sad, but you're not going to please everyone.
