Most players this age, still want discipline. It's called accountability. I often times get to games shortly after the doors open. Many times you see the BU players all dressed differently, some taking shots from half court, some wearing headphones, some talking to people in the crowd. Meanwhile the other team is dressed alike, not wearing headphones, not taking shots from half court, but actually taking shots they take in games. Maybe this is nitpicking but I call it discipline.
It's will all be moot very soon. 5 1/2 weeks and counting....

I expect Kirk to write a scathing column for tomorrow, but somehow he will still go easy on the coaching.
Dave will do his usual lipstick on a pig routine, and write about how great Drake played.
Some things never change.
And as predicted, he simply calls the team "bad" and just gets every synonym for "bad" that Thesaurus.com can provide, and calls it a column.
And again, as predicted, not one single word about the abysmal coaching.
Still waiting for Dave's article. BTW, Dave predicted a "winning streak" with a 65-56 Bradley win.
I am not sure even if Bradley won, that wins over MSU and Drake at home constitute a winning streak.

lack of discipline

Josh is a good player that could be saved by the right replacement coach.

I sit a couple of section to the left of him and this guy has been doing it to Geno for awhile but it crossed the line when he got after the players. As far as the team we have at least 10 more games left. Is their anything to look forward to? All we do for Jones is let him create his own shot. Is it possible that we can run him off a couple of screens to get him an open shot? We do it for other guys. Why not Jones. Josh continues to evolve. Let's hope the evolution continues in Peoria. Geno needs to play X a lot more than he has. The only way X is going to get better is to play. I think X has some talent but how are you going to get it out of him if he only plays a couple of minutes a time. The problem for Geno has been getting all 5 guys that are out on the floor playing together on both ends of the court. He's hasn't proven that he has the ability to do that. the countdown clock for Geno is at 10.

booing
I want to clarify: I don't boo refs when they are leaving the court or even during time outs. I will boo a call "WADDA YA MEAN BLOCK...HIS FEET WERE SET.....BOO" and leave it at that.
I think that fans are expected to be biased toward the home team and that trying to get your team a call is an expected part of the melodrama.
I don't get personal.

Worse even than our team's coaching is our coaching staff's inability to evaluate talent, land decent DI players, and get the right guys in here...
Here are some stats...on the players who have been incessantly hyped as our best players, go to guys & difference makers
"Go to guy" #1 (Barnes) 2-8, 106 from 3pt, 9 pts, 6 rebs, 3 fouls
"Go to guy" #2 (Sutherland) 0-4, 2 pts, 1 reb, 1 asst
"Difference maker" #1 (Grier) 0-0, 0 pts, 0 rebs, 0 asst, completely zero stat line
"Difference maker" #2 (Fields) 0-0, 2 pts, 0 rebs, 0 asst
"Go to guy" #3 (Jones) leading scorer but currently in jail
"Team leader" (Shaw) 0-0, 0 pts, and a completely zero stat line
Other difference makers and stat-sheet-fillers such as Zecevic, Crawford, Shayok - long gone
