Voice of the Braves, Live at The Fieldhouse

We are experimenting with a new radio show and will debut a 6-week run Monday night: Voice of the Braves, Live at The Fieldhouse. The hour-long show will air on 6-7 p.m. on 1470 WMBD and we will broadcast live from the back room at The Fieldhouse. All hosted by Dave Snell, this week's first show will feature Geno Ford for the first half hour, while the second half hour will turn to baseball with Zach McAllister, Mike Tauchman and Jason Leblebijian. Hope you can join us for the next six Mondays and hope even more we can continue the show long term.

This is a great idea. Thanks, Bobby. I used to always listen to Dave Snell's evening radio show on WMBD radio, and I miss the coach's show on the radio.

fan participation

The Monday night radio show sounds great! One question only....When are you going to have fan participation and or call in. No more of the pre-submitted questions where every question is pre-censored. Part of the fun of a fan-friendly radio show is the spontaneous nature of the questions. Most of the questions that the fans really want to know are never asked.

I doubt we'll see actual call-in segments, but it would be easy to answer questions from fans off Twitter, Facebook, or texted or emailed questions. That way, the prank-type callers or the dead-air phenomenon would still be eliminated easily, yet real-time fan interaction could be incorporated, just like has been done in the past with chat sessions.
Knowing Dave, I think he'd love to have fan involvement.
