      It was listed as 6,059.
But anyone who was there could see it was less than half that. I would estimate 2,750.

I know - nice to have a few of those plays installed...
but you don't win games with a single play or two that get you 2 points -
you win with intense, well-played offense & defense for 40 minutes...

We clearly spend time in practices with Cunningham, Thomas, and Tramique practicing and perfecting their lob plays -
but it sure seems at times like maybe we are sacrificing time practicing for the other 39.9 minutes of the game.

          Dave Reynolds' article today-

Dave manages to describe the win and the entire game, and award B's for the performance, but he never once mentions in the entire article that we beat a bad team that was missing their best player (Marcus Marshall) and their 3rd highest returning scorer, top returning rebounder, and best inside player (Ron Mvouika).

This game just validated why our basketball program needs a change. Fundamentally we are horrible. They continue to play defense with their hands and arms and over guard when the ball is 25 feet from the basket. That is why they commit fouls when the ball handler is not a threat or when they are fighting through a screen away from the ball.

Our offense the last five minutes looked like a bunch of cardboard cut-outs. The guard with the ball dribbled in place at the top of the key. The other four players just stood there. No movement at all. It was unbelievable. Our offense the last 5 minutes was nothing but Jones shooting the 3 ball. It was the most inept case of coaching I have seen in a long time. BU will lose at MO State.

I actually thought the offense looked better for most of the game.Better ball movement. We got some easy shots??¦.many which we didn't convert but some we did??¦.

Shaw should never see the floor he is BAD! He should get his walking papers at the end of the year too.

What is the opinion of the officiating of this game? Especially the final plays.

Not sure what you mean, but I did not see anything that seemed unusual. I thought the officials (O'Neill, Stevens, Burdett), who are all veteran officials, did a good job. The turnovers in the final minute were at the far end of the court from where my seat is, so I did not see anything that leads me to think they weren't right.

it seemed like O'Neill responded more to the bench reacting then blew his whistle on that out of bounds play than if he actually had seen it himself...

If you are talking about the one where Bell through it out I thought it went off one of the MSU players??¦.no ref actually made a call on it one way or the other??¦??¦they looked at each other and went to the replay??¦??¦.

Sorry I didn't make much sense. Yeah that final play I thought was helped by the MSU bench.
