Just saw the Xavier game vs Marquette...great game - right down to the wire..
Xavier wins 62-58, Abell's 15 pts led the team...
but one thing mentioned was that Xavier enjoys a 90% winning percentage on their home court...
90%!!!!
We use to have that kind of home dominance....
Bradley won 80% of all home games in the Fieldhouse and continued about 80% at Carver...
It was promised it would be a priority in the Geno Ford era...
Geno Ford's home court record is 37-24, about 60% winning pct...with one losing season - against a pretty weak slate of opponents..
(JL never had a losing season at home)

He is shooting 42.5% from three this season, and his last season at Indiana, he shot 48.5%!
Not bad for someone that some claimed would never be a success at D1.
Remy is just a junior for Xavier. He might have been a senior at Bradley this year under different circumstances, and we wouldn't have such difficulty with zones.

Wichita leads Evansville 28-18 at the half. It was close for the 1st 10 1/2 minutes but the Aces proceeded to go over 9 minutes without scoring until a D. J. Balentine 3 pointer with a few seconds left in the half. They had missed their previous 9 shots. Evansville, which was in the top 5 in NCAA FG%, shot just 33%. Wichita shot just 38% but had 6 offensive rebounds that they converted into points which helped them to their 10 point advantage.

It's now 24 in a row in the MVC as Wichita goes on the road and beats Evansville 61-41 in their most impressive win this season. The Shockers never gave Evansville a chance in the 2nd half as 10 points was as close as the Purple Aces could get. D. J. Balentine had 16 but was held to 6-18 from the field, making just 1 shot in the 2nd half. Tekele Cotton was on him the whole game and just took Balentine out of it in the 2nd half. Darius Carter had a double double with 18 points and 11 rebounds and Ron Baker, who I think is the early favorite for the POY in the MVC, also had 18 points. Wichita held Evansville, who entered the game having the 3rd best FG% in the nation, to just 31%. Equidijus Mockevicious picked a bad time to play his worst game of the year for Evansville as he had just 2 points and fould out with 6 minutes left. It looks to me that the Shockers don't look like a team that's primed to be beat right now. Wichita shouldn't be challenged until they go to UNI on the 31st
