  • NCAA win.......Recruiting?

In all honesty........what will this do to the Braves as far as recruiting? Will it help out right away.........or down the road? Or will it do both and put BU back on the map getting in on kids who really haven't heard of them or the Valley? With all the bainter going on about the Valley right now that also has to help? Just wonder what others think? I also assume JL will be locked up for a while to come ...(if it hasn't already happend.)

If I'm not mistaken, Patrick Beverly is still unsigned. He'll be playing two games today at the Civic Center.

This does more for BU than you'd think,
the BU kids had such a great time that they want more and more of this!!!!

As is the case every year, there are kids on BU's team who are considering leaving....and guess what........not now!!
We heard some nice reports that the kids may all be coming back -- and we sat right behind Danny Adams entire family and what must've been a pretty good pct. of the Metamora school district, and they think DA will be back next year, and that talk of kids leaving may be premature.

I think a win like that would push anyone sitting on the fence between BU and elsewhere on the BU side for sure.

Would Jeremy Fears consider changing his mind about going to Iowa State, now that they have fired their coach and are involved in a scandal?

Any word on the kid from Aurora West (TJ Marion)? How did he look against Richwoods?

He really is an atheletic player but only had 4 pts against Richwoods and TJ also fouled out!

I was at the West-Richwoods game yesterday, Marion played a solid game, he had several rebounds, steals, and assists. The Blackhawks biggest problem was that Richwoods one gaurd shot lights out from behind the arc, and it doesnt help that the refs always do there best to keep West from winning. The refs were from Elgin, Wheaton, and St. Charles, and they cant stand it that West beats there kids every year (Wheaton especially). Any contact by West was a foul and anything by Richwoods play would continue. TJ only had 2 real fouls, and the 4 points isnt really a major surprise as he only scores when needed.

Perrick Robinson of Bowling Green is leaving BGSU and wants to transfer. He is a super quick point guard from Chicago who has played against Bradley the last 2 years. He reminded me of Daniel Ruffin. I don't see Bradley having any interest, but he is the type of player that would help ISU and several other MVC teams.

I am now friends with TJ Marion on myspace. When i asked him about college he said he still is considering some things, and when i said we would all love to have him this was his reply:

"thats something i like to hear but i promise im gone consider them to the end because they where the first college i visited and i like the head coach he real cool "

F86...........as far as TJ.............the way he plays in your face D' and shuts down the opposing teams scorers you would think the Braves would be real high on his list! This is what the Braves hang their hat on and credit as their reason to make it to the SWEET 16............in your face D'!
