  • Dave Reynolds article: Bradley mentally soft

Reynolds: Barnes says Bradley needs to work on mentality

Also, Dave reports that the Braves have been hit by the flu at a bad time-

Flu hits Bradley Braves. Head coach Geno Ford and players Omari Grier and Xzavier Taylor absent from practice today.

Classic investigative work at the PJS- they have just confirmed that Bradley is indeed soft. Can everyone please agree to no longer mention the injury or flu, etc. excuses anymore?

it's only a few weeks since all those articles by Reynolds & Wessler claiming this is the TOUGHEST team we have ever had

We were told by the EXPERTS (Geno, Dave Reynolds) this is THE TOUGHEST FRONTCOURT since Anderson, Thirdkill, & Reese!!!!!
The Adrian College’s women’s basketball team, predicted to finish fifth in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association, has worked hard to prepare for the upcoming season and replace key player…

The year before touted Shaw as Chicago tough - capable of scoring four times out of five if we get him the ball! - LINK
And we were told we'd be a far better 3-pt shooting team this year - LINK

I think it is even more proof that someone on this coaching staff doesn't have a clue.

Does Geno even know who Anderson, Thirdkill and Reese where? The only comparison to the present front court and these players are that they all breath air. U are so right T, they don't have a clue.

A real coach wouldn't allow the flu to hit his team. Admit it, some of you want to say it.

He would not use it as an excuse, and it likely would not have appeared in the newspaper, it would have been kept to the team.

hey - you know Ronnie Wright and a few others were directly blamed for injuries & missed games a few years ago...

btw- someone else just pointed out to me that they see this article as a possible alibi for all those over-the-top praises
they've been heaping on this team for 3 years calling these players the most talented we've ever had....

In other words...."we really weren't wrong about them being talented -
                  - it's just they lack any desire to be good".....

Heard a former football player @ Northwoods make the statement that his college football coach always said "An excuse in the skin of a lie wrapped in a purpose"
When all of these guys quit making excuses and give 100% in both practice and the games and when the whole team which includes the coaching staff and the beat writers quit making excuses we might just get somewhere.
