I agree with Da Coach. As I've said before, the problem starts with the Board of Trustees and ends with the Board of Trustees. They hired Glasser. It appears to me the situation at BU is like being caught in a revolving door. Board members resign because they don't like the direction, Glasser is taking the university, while other board member do. Glasser and her cronies on the Board, are replacing them with members that think as they do. Remember, they are not elected like school board, park board or city council members, so they actually are not accountable to anyone other than themselves. It is a classic example of the fox guarding the hen house. As I see it, changes at the top can only be made by changing the people at the top. The problem is, the people that change those people are the very ones that need to be replaced.

Penny wise, pound foolish
Last Sunday at the UIC game - the 3rd row in Sec 24 - near courtside & directly across from the bench - was completely empty..not a single person sitting in the row - at least 20 near-premium seats empty

checking the stats this morning in conference play...
BU at or near the bottom in most offensive stats....we expected that....
Loyola is currently 2-2 and in the middle of the pack....
but their FG shooting pct is now at 44% in league play - again in the middle of the pack after shooting over 50% as a team in non-conference play.
Plus their scoring offense is also down a bit in the middle of the pack...
As nice of a start as they had to the season - now comes the tough part - staying healthy and staying above .500 in the MVC where it seems awful tough to win on the road...
I still see 4 tiers forming in the MVC...
Top tier - Only one team here - Wichita State will run away with the MVC
2nd tier - UNI, then perhaps ISU & Evansville have the horses to finish >.500 in MVC & compete for post-season opportunity - probably NIT/CBI
3rd tier - Loyola & Indiana State - & I put the Sycamores here because they have surprised by starting 4-0 - these guys will finish around .500
Bottom tier - SIU, Drake, BU, Missouri State - these teams will absorb the majority of the losses and each will be battling and
hoping to rally, win a few and stay out of Thursday. SIU rallied and surprised last year - can BU do it this year?
