  • ESPN3 coming to DirecTV

Many internet providers and cable companies (including Dish Network) have offered this for years, but now those of us with DirecTV can access it, hopefully soon after the beginning of 2015. Just in time, now that the streaming option has switched to ESPN3 for most of the games.

What do you mean? Is Bradley TV not going to stream it any longer?

LTF - I seem to remember reading a story that things were switching to ESPN3, but I can't find it anymore. All I am going by is what the schedule now shows, which is ESPN3 for most of the games, and nothing else showing for the games where ESPN3 is not noted. There is no additional fee for ESPN3. The requirement is that your internet provider allows access, or you have a cable/satellite provider that subscribes to it. Fastest way to check is to navigate to http://espn.go.com/watchespn/ and try to play something noted as being on "ESPN3". If it launches and plays, you are set. If not, it will provide you the option of scrolling through a list of authorized providers and logging in with the user ID and password you use for that provider. If you don't see your internet or cable company listed, then you can't access it.

It took a few calls and a couple of hours of sweat but I finally managed to get ESPN3 to play on my computers. Unfortunately, I had some security that prevented from ESPN3 authorizing me.
