The excitement for this game is palpable. (Yawn.) This thread has been open for three days and not one comment yet.

Please, BU, give us something positive to talk about, anything to get excited about.

I doubt it will be on Comcast.

It is not scheduled to be on the primary Comcast SportsNet channel, which will have Bears post-game coverage. But it is scheduled to be on Comcast SportsNet Plus. On the local Peoria area Comcast cable, that will be channels 102, and 285 (usually high definition), starting at 4:00 PM..

It will be embarrassing for Bradley to have all the viewers looking at so many empty seats.
What part of illegal don't you understand?

We're producing the game for CSN Chicago. It will be in HD on CSN+. It is also available on ESPN3 nationally but will be blacked out in Chicago and Peoria/Bloomington markets.

If we have a sellout will lift the blackout?

                        The game day release notes...
"Bradley will face one of its former assistant coaches for the third time this season when fifth-year UIC head coach Howard Moore
brings the Flames to Carver Arena Sunday afternoon. Moore was an assistant coach at Bradley for three seasons
under both Jim Molinari and Jim Les from 2000-2003.

Bradley is 0-2 this season in games played against its former assistant coaches this season,
dropping a 60-57 decision to Saint Louis (Jim Platt) Nov. 29 and a 50-47 verdict at Kansas State (Alvin Brooks III) Dec. 9."

here's an interesting factoid, though....at right about the same time Bradley is hosting UIC & ex-Bradley assistant Howard Moore...

WHAT GAME ELSEWHERE FEATURES TWO EX-BRADLEY ASSISTANT COACHES WHO WILL BE FACING EACH OTHER?

Here's the answer - mouse over to read....

UC-Davis with ex-BU assistant Kyle Vogt is playing at Washington State with ex-Bradley assistant Greg Graham.

Im sure, w/ the Party, Holiday, Early start and Chicago opponent and a chance at a Win will equal a decent crowd.

Hopefully our best game of the yr and we can live on some HOPE!

a couple things from the article...

-Howard Moore got an extension after an 18-win season - now they have him signed until 2018

-he followed that year with 6-25 and are doing terribly this year, 3-10

                              - the PJS cuts Moore some slack, though, because this is "an injury-plagued start to this season."

-Moore speaks of building the program "the right way"
"We??™re trying to do it the right way, building with four-year players
and mixing in some transfers here and there.
???Some people would say that??™s the hardest route, that you could just bring in
a bunch of junior college guys and see what happens.
But UIC isn??™t that type of place. The academic standards are pretty high."
