I actually believe we can win tomorrow. That would break Geno's 0-12 neutral site record. Plus, it would help end some record futility in road games for Geno. The only non-conference win this team has had in the last 25 months (yes, over 2 full years!) was the 1 point, last second win at UIC two seasons ago.
For the record, Bradley has also won only 2 road games in the last 3 seasons-Jan. 2, 2013, at SIU, and Feb. 6, 2014 at Loyola.

I see in today's paper, Dave Reynolds picks Arkansas-Little Rock to win. Maybe that is so, if BU wins, he can say how great BU looked against another rinky-dink program. Wait a minute.....we are the rinky-dink program.

we are averaging 57.5 ppg against DI opponents
..and shooting 36.4% from the floor overall against DI opponents..
That 36.4% FG shooting is not only last in the MVC but one of the worst in the entire nation..

I know that's just arbitrary leaving out the Eureka game but note this....

According to the NCAA stats for team FG%..
...half the teams in DI shoot better than 43.5%!!
...only 50 DI teams shoot under 40% as a team
...only 20 shoot under 38%
...and only 8 shoot under 36.4%

went back and read some of the articles before the other games...

At least five different times our local media has gone all giddy on us about how good we're gonna be...and how uneducated the fan base was for not seeing it!!

-throughout the preseason lots of accolades and "light years better"-talk
-then when Omari Grier went for 33 points right off the bat - but he's kinda disappeared since
-then Warren Jones went for 33 & we found a scorer like never before - a "great offensive player" and "go-to guy" who couldn't hit the rim the next time out
-then Auston Barnes had a single good game & became our new go-to guy
-then when Tramique Suthland had a good game against DIII competition - suddenly happy days were here again, we found another savior...

yet here we sit at 4-7, making no decent progress, in fact looking worse as time goes on...
our three GO-TO guys (AB, TS, OG) last night went 9-28 and 2-9 from the arc, with 3 asst to 9 turnovers
... worried about gonna be playing on Thursday night in St. Louis again

Bradley has the players this year, that with some sound coaching decisions and in-season development of our bigs would put us back to a top 6 valley finish by end of season.
