Here are THE PENNY's shiny new picks for Game 1 of the 2014-15
MVC Regular Season Game Pick Em Contest:
BU (don't disappoint)
ISU R (don't choke on a chicken bone Redbirds)
MSU (don't forget to 'bear' down)
Drake (don't let WSU know you moved the starting time up to 3:05 pm)
UNI (don't let hangovers interfere with your intensity)
The Penny goes 5-0 to start the season! Yeah, baby!
THE LEGEND OF THE PENNY
For any newbies to the Pick Em Contest, or, veterans who forgot, or
just didn't care, THE PENNY is the mythical alter ego of AZ BU Fan.
Since AZ can not play in his own on line contest (anti ethical), THE PENNY was created to compete. For each game matchup, AZ flips a penny to make the pick, heads its the home team, tails its the visiting team.
THE PENNY sets the bar for all other participants. Are you smarter, or better picking winners, than a flip of a coin, a.k.a. THE PENNY.
The PENNY has gone 5-0, 0-5 and everywhere in between. Doesn't get caught up in stats, trends, new coaches, old coaches, etc.
Just make sure you finish higher than THE PENNY!
Now I know you just got to be asking yourselves, am I better than the Penny? Well? Are you, punk (prognosticators) ?
