  • Streaming Video Quality?

I know it is an annual topic, but this year the game feeds seem even worse--shadows, lag, pixilation, even choppy audio tonight. And it seems like no real production quality like years past with fades to replays, adds, stats, time, score, etc. What gives? The team is bad enough, but now I have trouble even watching them any more.

For half-time, they are showing a static graphic with the score, but no video of the half-time show...everyone loves dogs, I don't get it :-(

The quality has been bad all year. The ghosting is bad. I believe this is the worst video quality is several years.

Still no score shown on the feed. Is that a technical limitation?

Doesn't matter anymore. Rest of this season is on ESPN3 which is a much higher quality. Check and make sure now that your ISPs or cable/satellite provider supports espn3. Not all do.

Sure as heck shouldn't be. The Morton High School feeds have the capability. All you need is a camera that focuses on the scoreboard and a software that reads it and translates it into a broadcast graphic. If Morton High can do it, I imagine a large private university in conjunction with a large arena can do it.
