Oh for the good old days when we didn't have to offer special deals, because we had a product worth the face value of the ticket.

I agree. Heads have to roll at the end of the year.

I don't blame them for trying these kinds of promotions, and I hope it draws a few more fans to the games. A consistent winning tradition, and an exciting game atmosphere will do a lot more.

The halftime entertainment is fine, it does add to the game. I still think it is too bad we have to offer special pricing on tickets to get people to come to the game.

I wouldn't even be against carrying 500 tickets down to Carver Center, or the Christian Center, or Boys & Girls Club and give them away-
It might start some kid into becoming a Braves fan...but even if not it would do a lot for the community if nobody else is going to use the tickets.
They did it earlier this year with 800 tickets given to District 150 kids - that was a good idea..

It is sad that these types of promotions are necessary. I totally agree with doing it however under the circumstances. I just hope more thought goes into things before next season so it's not necessary again.

we've always had them - kids like them -- they won't let us do the Chief and his halftime dance any more - and people are a little tired of Quick Change and their act that hasn't changed one tiny bit in 15 years
