you wouldn't know that from this morning's article...

They think it's just a matter of shots not falling or not finishing...

"The defense and rebounding were easily good enough to win

...the defense and rebounding remain strong team staples.

We had as many offensive rebounds (25) as they had defensive and had a plus-17 rebounding advantage
..I’ll give the guys a lot of credit for the toughness
..continuing to guard and keeping teams below 40 percent. That’s hard

...we were terrific rebounding and defending
..We can’t play any harder. ...I know we’re trying"

    and the injury excuse...
"Sutherland ... had a difficult day ... battling a sprained big toe on his left foot sustained toward the end of the Irvine contest.
Tramique didn’t have his usual speed or cutting ...That was very evident. He wanted to play, but he didn’t have his explosiveness.”

I am not as giddy about our rebounding as Dave seems to be. Yes, we outrebounded them, but 14 of those were "Team" rebounds, and 25 of the rebounds, were our own shots that we kept missing.
Plus, Arkansas Little Rock started a 4-guard lineup with a single 6'5" forward being their tallest player on the court:
      Their starters were:
Roger Woods 6'5" forward (31 minutes- 5 rebounds)
DeVonte Smith 5'11" guard (33 minutes- 5 rebounds))
      J.T. Thomas 6'1" guard (36 minutes- 7 rebounds))
James Reid 6'3" guard (24 minutes- 1 rebound)
Ben Dillard 6'2" guard (36 minutes- 4 rebounds)

      And their reserves were:
Josh Hagins 6'1" guard (12 minutes- 3 rebounds)
Maurius Hill 6'5" forward (3 minutes- 0 rebounds)
Mareik Isom 6'7" forward (6 minutes- 2 rebounds)
James White 6'8" forward (19 minutes- 4 rebounds)

Bradley's starting lineup included three players significantly taller than the tallest starter for UALR- Forwards Cunningham (6'7"), Barnes (6'8"), and Taylor (6'9"), plus we got significant minutes from Shaw (6'8"), Morgan (6'8"), and Thomas (6'6") off the bench.

with their whole lineup being "ankle biters" as Chad Kleine called them...

why didn't Nate Wells at least get a shot in there...he never even got an opportunity to play - zero minutes...
He would have towered almost a foot over most of those guys and at least maybe gotten a couple opportunities if we feed the post like every other team does.
...if we just feed a 7-1 guy down low when they have nobody over 6-5 then maybe we get a few shots that don't get blocked.

The wonder of it all is that all those small guys blocked TEN of our shots!
TEN -- blocked shots - many of which were shots being taken by our guys who are 6-8 and 6-9 and being blocked by their guys who are 6-1, 6-2, and 6-3...
        kinda hard to even grasp...

Nate Wells is not the solution to anything.

That's what I said about Geno when they hired him.

              Bradley's RPI is now 291.
There is a very dramatic difference between the top 5 teams, and the bottom 5 teams in RPI-
