I just noticed there are a couple games on the Bradley schedule now designated as TV games to be broadcast on WAOE in Peoria.
Bradley Schedule-
Note however, that only 2 games on the entire schedule are listed on WAOE-
The Wednesday, January 7 game at Wichita State, and the Wednesday, February 25 game at Missouri State
Does anyone know if there will be more games? If these 2 games are the only local TV games, it marks a new low in televising games locally.
Last year, there were 4 games televised locally by WAOE (which was a lower number than in the previous several decades).-
Also, WAOE televised a Geno Ford Show weekly, but there has been no mention of that either. Does anyone know if that will happen again this year?
I also notice there are no games listed as being televised by WTVP, which has done both men's games and women's games for the past many years. But this year, there are no games for either the men or the women designated as being on WTVP. Are they no longer involved with Bradley basketball? Why the further yearly decline in local TV games?
Since WAOE does not originate live programming locally, it's likely the couple men's games they will have this season will be like past seasons- an adopted feed from the other team's TV station. Does anyone know who the BU broadcast team will be?
There will be 4 upcoming games on ComcastSportsNet Chicago, the UIC, Loyola, SIU, and ISU games, as well as a few more ESPN3 games and a couple MVC-TV Network games.
