who ever said "Warren Jones is better than Walt Lemon?"

I never said that and that wasn't a point of mine..
but we have had many people including media reports & posts here and elsewhere saying Walt Lemon was destructive to team chemistry, he hurt the team, and despite his scoring he didn't help us & people specifically stated they were happy to see him go.

so how does Warren differ and why are the same people not happy to see him go?

T, are you really going to take every player from now on that does well and do this schtick about people not wanting Walt but liking the new player? That will get old real quick.

so I get the blame for other people's comments?
I just don't see why we need Warren so much but didn't need Walt who was clearly better in every statistic

and "every player"??? - what other player have I asked this about ?

Here is what I am saying..

Warren Jones is a bright spot right now. Maybe the only one. But he is no "hero". I really don't see anyone saying that.

Walt was great. No one ever really wanted him to leave, except those who panic after a loss. Losing bequeaths panic on message boards, if you haven't noticed. I think the only rational negative that could be made about Walt is that he tried to do too much at times.

What other players....none, because Warren is the first "best player" we have had since Walt left. My concern is that you will keep making this Walt Lemon point for every "best player" we have.

It's been old for a long time...but it's what some around here like to do...compare previous regimes players and tell us how good we had it

Thought I read a quote from Jones that it was hurting toward the end of the Memphis game

Face facts guys, I know it's hard to do nowadays, but this team is bad.

I know it's hindsight but that's well within the prerogative of a message board...
but we should have had the deep bench and walk-ons in there 5-6 minutes earlier when the lead hit 20+pts - maybe this could have been prevented - why are starters still in the final minutes of a 30-pt blowout when we have another tough road game 72 hours later?
BTW even with the starters in we scored only 5 pts and only made one basket in the final 7:15 none of which were Jones who was still in there until the final minute
