BU leads at half in what I can only describe as the most painful half in which BU is leading ever. Woof, this is hard to watch. Yet still immeasurably better than being crushed like last time.

FWIW, I know they are vastly different positions, but Nate Wells is a better contributor than Anthony Fields...

Listening to the game on the radio. Glad it's not on television. What a poor excuse for college basketball.
What part of illegal don't you understand?

We are held under 20 in the first half.

Well the 2nd part at least was right.

            Hater!

Doesn't look like it will take anywhere near 60 to win this one, which is good since we won't get anywhere near there. Could 40 be enough?

Doing the same thing. Looks pretty good, and a much better feed than BU TV. Looking forward to more games done this way, only hope we can win a few of these.

Unfortunately, I only validated 48 hours ago and it takes 72 hours. I hope that is my problem. I could watch the replay.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a shooting guard?

Yeoman's effort. For all the abuse this team has taken, me included, they really battled tonight.

                      I'd prefer a point guard...

                        Bradley loses 50-47

-I applaud our guys for battling and holding them to just 50 pts - the game was a winnable game if we take care of possessions and hit some shots
                        -way too many turnovers
-we are a really bad shooting team and may do this, scoring in the 40's, a few more times yet this season - gonna be fun...
-Barnes had 21 - he was the only one hitting shots

-and lastly - come on Dave Snell - if a team is up 3, 0.6 seconds to go - and shooting FT's......
.. then they are NOT going to miss on purpose! It would be insane as the outcome showed - - if you miss then a long heave ties the game if it goes in...
They would try to make it because if you make the FT it would put them up by four points/TWO POSSESSIONS and guarantee the win.

Agreed. This kind of effort will win a lot of MVC games, in spite of the obvious offensive problems.

Great effort on defense. If we could just get some scoring out of the inside guys, we might pull an upset, but just not enough offense, and we just can't make unforced turnovers like we did a few times.
I am surprised K-State didn't press at all. Maybe they didn't watch the Memphis game?
                            Final stats-
                            BU 47 K-State 51 (or was it 50?)
Box score for the Kansas State Wildcats vs. Bradley Braves NCAAM game from December 9, 2014 on ESPN. Includes all points, rebounds and steals stats.

There was confusion at the end. Does anyone know why the TV guys said that last Free Throw wasn't counted, and that made the score 50-47 (the K-State live stats shows 50-47 as final score), but the ESPN stats show 51-47?

yes...and ...in case people haven't noticed....several MVC teams are also playing poorly right now and thus would be beatable if our guys battle like they did tonight.

Shockers & UNI are obviously both playing well but everyone else looks to be within reach, especially Drake, Indiana State, and Missouri State...

Evansville played relatively poorly tonight and trailed much of the game - finally playing well over the final 13-14 minutes to pull out a 65-62 win over a tough Belmont team. It required all of 25 pts from DJ Balentine.

I thought AF played extremely well tonight. He isn't going to score for us, but he made good decisions and limited his TOs. Hopefully we can play this well during the MVC season cause we will be in the top half and not playing thursday night in STL
