    Final score
Memphis 73 - Bradley 45 - pretty shocking - we were within 7-8 points midway in the 2nd half then just folded....got outscore by well over 20 points in those final 10 min...
Bradley's scoring average goes to 60.1 ppg

    Kansas State on Tuesday -

one more note - when we got beat by Duke a couple years ago (12/8/10)- the score was similar - but that was #1 ranked DUKE
and we were playing with THREE starters in street clothes!!
..and yet Kirk Wessler snidely called Bradley's effort "ugly" and mockingly commented about nobody guarding anybody... LINK

curious to see how he describes a very similar clubbing - but this team definitely is NOT Duke

Very difficult game to watch. I can't find one thing to praise. Horrible.

And that Bradley team was missing 3 starters that night- Taylor Brown, Sam Maniscalco, and Dyricus Simms-Edwards.

Watching Simeon play Lancaster Tx on TV and I think they would both beat us. Just plain pretty sorry. So many areas we lack in but nothing shooters ,inside people who can play and PG's wouldn't cure.

some very revealing words from Chad Kleine - talking about effort and ability and conceding he's never seen a Bradley team that he'd say this about but...
we just do not have what it takes to compete...

the Chairman of the Board has gone on record saying that there will be NO move by the Board to even consider basketball until the end of the season..
He stated...this past year has been the BEST OVER-ALL PERFORMANCE
"in at least the last 30 years." - he's obviously been infected - he's one of them...
....please KW - tell me who on that court was a "difference maker" as you have said?

Well, we have 2 days to practice our ball-handling against the press, because Kansas State has one of the best full court pressure defenses in the country.

Bradley shot 27% with 20 turnovers; they had a total of 6 assists for the entire game. The 45 points was a season low

                    Box score-
Page Not Found (404): It looks like you're lost... The page you are looking for no longer exists.

                    Game story-
MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Shaq Goodwin posted a double-double with game-highs of 15 points and 12 rebounds, leading Memphis (3-3) to a 73-45 win against Bradley (3-5) Saturday night at FedExForum.

Can't wait to see how Kirk and Dave dress this disaster up.

When the best Snell can come up before he signed off was "We'll try to be more competitive in the next game", that's just sad.

the two things we have heard endlessly all year are that this team is tougher and has LEADERSHIP --
over and over these two things have been hammered home with the strong implication that this is what we have lacked in the recent past and that Geno has finally fixed this problem.

But then read the two excuses Geno & Dave Reynolds give for last night's butt whuppin'...

"Our toughness with the ball was embarrassing ..
The lack of collective toughness and lack of a leader on the floor .. were their best player"

BTW how much will a point guard help us when virtually every one of those 20 turnovers was from the hands of the guys the point guard is passing to?
..and could all this Warren Jones hype be a little akin to the one-game TCS-hype?

                          Dave Reynolds-
Bradley shaken, rattled, rolled at Memphis 73-45

A rather short article filled with excuses, and blaming the players, again.

And the report card from the PJS- all F's except one D-

First time post. Have followed program since 93. Love reading Da Coach and Tornado. We all know Geno is not a good coach and needs to go yesterday. What are the strengths of this team? I can't think of anything they do well. Big picture- we give up way too many easy buckets and don't create easy opportunities for ourselves. When we get the occasional easy one, we don't convert because we have no one who can finish. How can absolutely nobody on this roster value the ball? Not 1 guy who knows what to do with the rock when he has it and no ball skills. Not 1 guy who is a threat to consistently hit from the perimeter. Not 1 big who can catch..turn..and shoot. How many times were guys falling down attempting to take charges but late sliding over?I would love to watch just one practice- can't imagine what goes on. Our screens including up top are pointless. Pick and roll even worse. At this point, only Cunningham showing any promise but he doesn't seem to look to score. Would like to see getting him in position to score- face up from 10-15'. Shaw is big disappointment but still better than Morgan and Taylor. Still makes my blood pressure spike when I think about early season losses. Anyone who has played competitive sports and does not get upset about losing to a "lesser opponent" (see early season schedule) is a punk. You have to be mentally tough and not allow that to happen. Does nobody have any inner drive, pride, desire to win, etc. to take care of Augustana, etc. How could any player on that roster allow something like that to happen? Answer: greatly inflated talent evaluation by many, poor personal makeup demonstrated by scholarship athletes- don't have intangibles that you would expect, and poor coaching. Mentally and physically weak. Totally embarrassing. We all know the coaching is bad and bad coaching combined with poor effort, poor makeup of "talented" players on roster (don't see much talent truthfully) will produce exactly what you deserve- really bad basketball every night. How can anyone be surprised by the results? I am leaving for church and will continue to pray for Bradley basketball.

I don't know what you expect out of an article. It seemed pretty negative to me.
