care to add in the road record for the last 4 seasons? Someone has to stick with those nasty facts

it's 6-34 in true road games and 6-43 away from home

has any three-year stretch in history been that bad?

as for this slide starting in 2007 - sure doesn't look like it -
    2006-07 neutral 3-2
    2007-08 neutral 1-2
    2008-09 neutral 2-2
    2009-10 neutral 2-2
    2010-11 neutral 2-2

plus won almost 30 road games in that span

don't forget the road record vs. the MVC in these last 3 years
      2011-12- 0-10
      2012-13- 1-10
      2013-14- 1-9

That is a combined 2-29, with both wins against last place teams, at SIU in 2913 and at Loyola in 2014 (which was not even in the MVC prior to last year).
I wonder why Kirk and Dave have never mentioned this?

Dave Reynolds pregame article...Dave resurrects talk of the "west of the Mississippi" losing streak-

Dave says: "...the Braves are a decided underdog vs. 5-0 TCU, a Big 12 team that has dispatched its five opponents by an average of 22.1 points."

But I am not sure where that stat comes from. TCU is actually outscoring it's five opponents by an average of 27.2 points per game.

I was at the Pacific game in Vegas last year. It was not a pretty game and could have easily been a bigger spread. Of course, I do not get to see many games. Take my opinion of the the game with a grain of salt.

picky - but BU faces a 27 game losing streak west of the Mississippi dating to March of 2011 -

and TCU looks to be a very deep team - they have 9 players averaging double digit minutes and four more averaging just under that...
everyone contributes - 13 players average about 3ppg or more and 12 average 1.4 rpg or more - and as a team - they hit 46.6% from the arc,

TCU opens in Las Vegas as a 7 point favorite. That may seem surprising for a team that is 5-0 and has been beating opponents by 20-50 points.

But this is the first game away from home for TCU (it is also Bradley's first game away from home). And none of their opponents were very good-

              Date.............Opponent.........................Location..................Result
              Exhibition
              11/06/14.....vs. Tarleton State..............Fort Worth, Texas.....W, 69-61
              Regular Season
              11/14/14.....vs. Prairie View A&M...........Fort Worth, Texas.....W, 71-54
              11/17/14.....vs. Washington State...........Fort Worth, Texas.....W, 81-54
              11/20/14.....vs. New Orleans.................Fort Worth, Texas.....W, 86-71
              11/24/14.....vs. Mississippi Valley State...Fort Worth, Texas.....W, 106-53
              11/26/14.....vs. Radford........................Fort Worth, Texas.....W, 74-50

Prairie View A&M is one of the worst teams in D1. They are 0-6, most games were blowout losses.
Washington State is terrible. They just lost to UC Santa Barbara by almost 30 points.
New Orleans, Mississippi Valley State, and Radford are all bad teams.
So their 5-0 record is maybe not as impressive as it looks. However, if I was a betting person, 7 points doesn't seem like a bad bet...

I doubt anyone actually believes there is some kind of geographical curse.
The only curse is 3 years of bad teams and coaching, especially on the road. Let's hope we turn it around this season.
From PJ Star sports expert Kirk Wessler in his Jan. 10, 2012 column following 8th loss in a row at Drake-
"Yes, the Braves are better than they were when the season started two months ago. By a light year or two, they??™re better."

And from the PJ Star 4/26/12, Dave Reynolds-
"Fields and Grier both appear to be difference makers. If Bradley continues to add the right players around them, happy days may be ahead for the Braves after a long dry spell."

TCU has a 2-36 record the past 2 years in the Big 12, including 21 losses in a row. Any more than 2 league wins will be a success this year too. That's why they're only favored by 7.

Nice arena for the games. Only 75 people for first game. A couple 100 more showed up for the next one. Talked with Chad Klein and he thinks that TCU's big men might give us some trouble. About 20 minutes befor tip off any so far about 20 BU fans have showed up.

Some serious offensive problems fro Bradley.

Bradley with just 11 points after the first 12.30 of the game.

                          Live stats

Bradley trails 25-16 with 3 minutes left in 1st half.
Good defense, but we are again having problems scoring inside, missed layups, turnovers, overall poor shooting (3-14...21%), and bad free throw shooting.

Barnes with a buzzer beater to equal our total of first half field goals from last game - with 5-18
Pretty sloppy 1st half for both teams - lots of missed shots, some turnovers & fouls...
We just don't have much efficiency in scoring

We outscore then 5-2 in the last 30 seconds of the half for a halftime score 31-24
We are led by Barnes, 1-6 but 7 pts
                              Cunningham with 6 strong rebounds
Ka'Darryl Bell played pretty much the whole first half without an assist

Something going on with Jermaine Morgan - did not do much in 1st half

Check out the 3 good ex posters sitting in the front row just left of the basket we shot at last left. Not a whole lot to cheer about our shooting either from the field or line.
