Tennessee State played the final couple minutes of their game vs. SIU with just four men on the floor - as they were very shorthanded and had several players foul out!

If you want to know what shorthanded is....
New Tennessee State head coach Dana Ford took over at TSU just six months ago...
When he took over every player on the entire team left except one - he had to go out and sign TWELVE new players with extremely little lead time starting in late April...
but a couple of the new players are sitting out and a couple are injured leaving him with just 8 dressed, & four fouled out.
In a way it is surprising that given this story and that they finished the game with just four players on the court - the final margin of 17 pts (they were actually within 11 with 6 minutes to go) is frankly somewhat surprising

Jim Crews and his well-drilled team concept players spanked the Sycamore's a$$ last night in the Hulman Center no less. Lansing & boys all looked pathetic in their "effort". Its early but thinking it might well be a long season in Terre Haute this year.
