why should he - Kent State has started legal proceedings to garnish his wages after losing the lawsuit - so it's gonna go straight to them anyway...

Attendance was announced at 5048 - another all time record low - since at least back in the early 50's...
but it was probably closer to 3000 with all the empty seats....
we already are a laughingstock - but if there's even a hope of any respectability remaining - we have to immediately get rid of the people who are in charge and who engineered this disaster, we have to admit they acted stupidly and at the encouragement of really poorly informed fans who wouldn't know a good coach when they saw one & we need to then reverse gears - hire Chuck Buescher to come in and take over as interim head coach (or if he won't take it beg Dick Versace...) and then let someone else pick the next head coach - but please do not let Dr. Glasser, Jerry Shaheen, nor Dr. Cross within 100 years of wherever or whoever chooses our next head coach.

      Pathetic

This is setting up as one of the worst, if not the worst season in BU history. It looks like the team is not even being coached. Just pathetic.

I disagree that jones shooting so much took us out of the game. He is the only one who looks like he knows where the basket it is. No one inside can do a thing with the ball. Our "point guards" turn the ball over, which is the opposite of their first job and Greer is the only other guy who has a clue. It is shocking how much of that was true when Walt was here. Can't wait for the season to be over.

look on the bright side. ....

We still have eureka coming to our place! I thought we were crazy to schedule them but know i see the wisdom of this scheduling! ICC must not have had a open date!

I am not sure that this team will win one game this season. Because of the low basketball IQ, it is not fixable with these players. This is much worse than any basketball teams I have witnessed since 1977. I am not optimistic for any improvement, even with AB and TS returning.

A great point guard can make a huge difference. Hopefully TS is that guy.

Robert Morris is simply not a very good team. They will be lucky to win 10 games this season. They had given up an average of 90 points per game in their first 2 game, and Bradley struggled to score 61 points. Their offense has scored just 109 points (54.5 ppg) in their first 2 games, yet we gave up 68 points to them on the road. They were a poor rebounding team, getting 28 rebounds per game, and we gave them 41 rebounds tonight (9 more than Bradley got). They were shooting barely 30% on the season, but they shot 41% against Bradley. They were shooting 26% on threes for the season, yet they shot 9-18 (50%) tonight.

Bell and Jones played hard and had good games, though Jones' 24 points came on 18 shots. And again, Bradley got next to nothing out of their "4" and "5" players.

                  Final stats-

and I'll ask the same question I asked after the last game- what exactly is our offensive philosophy. We seem to take more ill-advised, low percentage shots than any team I've ever seen. Our passing is slow and inefficient, and we never seem to ever get any easy shots. And we play sloppy defense with too much reaching and silly fouls, and too many players getting lost on screens. Many of the shots that RMU made that killed Bradley tonight were just way too easy.
I do think this team could be better with the point guard Sutherland and Barnes back, but IMO, that will not be enough. There are too many things wrong that will not be fixed easily, and they will keep getting beat by teams that we should not be losing to.

all you need to do to assess this team is watch us struggle to make the simplest passes, struggle to inbounds the ball, dribble it repeatedly off our feet, miss open layups time and time again, and the miss endless defensive assignments so that a 20% 3pt-shooting team hits 9-18 against us...

we don't have single redeeming quality - and yet if you read the twitter feeds of DR & KW - they seem to think we were in that game and got beat by a good team.
DR described us as "more aggressive & smart" - KW says - "Bradley playing better defense"
...would love to actually read a fair and honest report and not something written as if brown-nosing you know who...
Please - this is a very bad team - and you guys were so incredibly wrong & so indescribably inept in telling us how good they are.

I think our offensive philosophy is to feed our big men on post ups, but none of them are comfortable with the ball in their hands, and none of them have any touch if they do happen to make a strong move towards the hoop.

I want to see more Nate Wells. His minutes were just as useful as any other big, and his effort level was probably higher. He at least gives us something no one else on the team can, height.

Robert Morris Rallies for 68-61 win at Bradley
PEORIA, Ill. - Bradley started strong by scoring 13 of the game's first 16 points and building a 27-12 lead through the first 14:12, but Robert Morris rallied for a 68-61 win Wednesday night.

PEORIA — As Bradley was building a 15-point lead in the first 15 minutes Wednesday against Robert  Morris, BU coach Geno Ford was concerned. Although the Braves were playing their best defense of t…

Bradley, which played without two of its top players for the second straight game, could get both back heading into the Corpus Christi Coastal Classic, which begins with a Sunday home game against North Carolina A&T at Carver Arena. Senior forward Auston Barnes has completed his suspension, while junior point guard Tramique Sutherland is scheduled to have his fractured left ring finger re-evaluated Thursday.

Not sure what Geno was taking about with Snell after the game. He says if Robert Morris is not a NCAA tourney team then they absolutely will be a NIT team Wow. Just don't see it happening.

It's obvious we simply don' t have the talent compete. If Geno was at a public HS and dealt this crappy hand I could have sympathy. But he dealt himself this hand of recruiting misses.

We have ZERO interest in wasting any more time, money, gas, parking etc to watch any more better things to do-not going back till we trade in the Ford--burn the Cross and retire the Glasser experiment that has been a failure
