Ouch - Drake getting clobbered at home by Bowling Green 75-52 with 3 minutes to go

    UNI beat North Dakota 64-52

    Evansville kills Earlham 116-45

Michigan has another blowout win - in two games (one exhibition & one vs. DII) they've had two enormous blowout wins yet Max Bielfeldt has played just 7 minutes total.

Mizlav Brzoja, who wanted to come to Bradley, scored 21 points off the bench for Evansville on 10-12 shooting. He also had a game high 11 rebounds!
      D.J. Balentine had 22 points.
Box score for the Evansville Purple Aces vs. Earlham College Quakers NCAAM game from November 15, 2014 on ESPN. Includes all points, rebounds and steals stats.

Seth Tuttle had 24 points and 9 rebounds for UNI in their win over North Dakota. Nate Buss and Wes Washpun also had big games, but for some reason they did not start.
Box score for the Northern Iowa Panthers vs. North Dakota Fighting Hawks NCAAM game from November 15, 2014 on ESPN. Includes all points, rebounds and steals stats.

Drake loses 77-58 at home to Bowling Green. Freshman Reed Timmer, who chose Drake over UC Davis, started, played all 40 minutes (11 minutes more than the next highest player), and was the leading scorer for Drake with 16 points, and he also had a team-leading 6 assists.
Freshman guard C.J. Rivers, another former Bradley recruit, came off the bench for 6 points, and a team-leading 8 rebounds!
Box score for the Bowling Green Falcons vs. Drake Bulldogs NCAAM game from November 15, 2014 on ESPN. Includes all points, rebounds and steals stats.

By the way, Bowling Green is coached now by former 6-year Wichita State assistant Chris Jans.
He took over a perennial bottom dweller in the MAC that lost 20 games last year under Louis Orr, and seems to have them playing quite well in his first game as a head coach at Division I.
BTW, Chris Jans has an impressive coaching history, including multiple connections in his past to the state of Illnois. He was a former assistant coach at Illinois State, and also at D3 Elmhurst College, and was also available to hire in 2011.

SIU and ISU starting off with tough competition--SLU on the road will be a challenge for the Salooks---and some picked the Utes to win the Mountain West--so the Birds will be challenged too
