More BU failure- BU soccer blows late lead and loses to SIU-E

Bradley lead SIU-E 1-0 through most of the match in their MVC Soccer Tournament semifinal match held at Bradley's Shea Stadium tonight. But 2 late goals in the final 12 minutes by SIU-E resulted in a 2-1 loss and elimination of Bradley. SIU-E will play Missouri State (who won tonight 2-0) for the MVC Championship.

They have been successful most years, and this was a down year. Derose's record suggests he will bounce back. But right now, I'd like to see any glimmer of positivity, and there is not much there. Yes, I know cross country did well, but I and most people would take 1 NCAA season in basketball over a dozen good seasons in cross country.

SIUE beats Missouri State for the MVC Soccer Championship - they were 7-8-4 on the season...and a lot of people wrote them off after they went 0-6-2 in their first 8 games...
but they are a very good team and you have to look at the brutal schedule they played
In their 6 regular season league games they gave up only 3 goals total - and only 4 in 8 games including the tourney!

It was a close match, with SIUE finally winning it 1-0 in the 2nd overtime.
Missouri State is one of the best defensive teams in the country. They have given up only 11 goals all season in 19 matches prior to the final, and they have had 12 shutouts.
