  • Promotions During Game Time Outs

Where in the world di BU come up with the guy who announces and MCs time-out promotions. Super shrill voice is hard on the ears and he is hard to understand. How about a change to a pleasant voice instead of the current super shrill & piercing one?

I'll second that but just fits into what we're seeing during a live clock.

I am sorry if I offend the Sandberg family or friends, but the low budget halftime promotions like the sorority stomp team (halftime at the Augustana game), and the ridiculous stilt guy (tonight's halftime act) are just unwatchable, and an insult to the Bradley fans. I know they need to cut the expenses, but please just give us some quiet time, or some band music, and stop with these low-budget, low-talent street performers.

Bring in some youth basketball teams and let them play during halftime. I'd rather watch that.

he sounds like the guy that voiced Bradley's ads last year. He's not my cup of tea, but I figure he appeals more to the younger generation.

            I'm sure that is BU's goal??¦??¦.but I wasn't wild about him either??¦of course I'm not younger??¦??¦..the tuition giveaway is fine??¦.I like big giveaways??¦.

What happened to running a clock for the time oriented contests? Not wild about the emcee counting down on the mic

I was pleased to see the Buffalo Wild Wings contest back. They refused to do it this year, and they were not at the Augustana game, when the marketing people tried to jack up the cost to BWW. But obviously they must have reached an agreement.

I'll take the Jesse White tumblers or the guys with the plastic 5-gallon buckets for drums any day

Hooters needs to be involved as a sponsor somehow. And Wells needs his own "Nate's Army" (or something like that) cheering section.

The sad thing is that they are going to have to get creative to have people leaving the arena feeling they had a good time even if the game was lousy. Too bad Bill Veeck isn't available.
