How can those responsible for this mess continue to show their faces at the games? Where I sit I don't get that close to them. Are people giving them a hard time at all or are most either too polite or too scared to say what they really think?

No good coaches or AD's will take this job as long as Glasser is still here. So go out get some more yes men if they make a move.

One other possibility...JG could resign to accept another job after pressure from a divided board of trustees.

I have heard from a previously reliable source that Geno Ford was actually given an extension somewhere in the past 1-2 years...such that now his contract was extended through 2018 -
if that is indeed true - it was big mistake to have extended him with zero accomplishments here - and thus makes it next to impossible to even consider buying out such a contract for 3 years or more..
If this is ture, whoever's decision this was needs to be held accountable - and fans need to know this is how their money and donations are being mishandled.

I guess the problem will have to be addressed through the assistant coaches then.

Baseball & softball declining-- soccer on the downfall--basketball as bad as it's ever been--volleyball is woeful--

IMO--only good scenario for BU---JG & MC resign (won't happen though)

But....IF it happens I saw where UFS and McDonalds are both hiring

              Well Done Joanne G....

Good Lord t!!! I hope and pray that what you have heard is not true. That would give us Geno for another four years. If that happens, Bradley Basketball is 100% dead in the water!

I just received a private message that has apparently been circulating with some interesting facts about the records of our sports teams since Joanne Glasser and Michael Cross (hired by Joanne Glasser and Gerry Shaheen) took over.
I think these numbers need to be shared with everyone, so whoever did the research, pardon me for posting.
Here are the records of several of the more visible programs since Dr. Cros took over on January 1, 2010, and the numbers for Joanne Glasser aren't much better:
                Men's Basketball- 43-77
                Women's basketball- 48-66
                Volleyball- 43-98
                Softball- 99-166
                Baseball- 110-150-1

Those are rancid numbers, and none of those programs have had 1 single winning season since he got here.
And when you factor in the big drops in fundraising, donations, ticket sales, revenues, TV exposure, and advertising, despite all the new hires, it's hard to believe he still has a job.
Now I am not saying he is to blame entirely, since I don't believe any AD should have to work under the conditions he has (everyone knows what I mean). But ultimately, someone has to bear responsibility for these unbelievably bad numbers.
From PJ Star sports expert Kirk Wessler in his Jan. 10, 2012 column following 8th loss in a row at Drake-
"Yes, the Braves are better than they were when the season started two months ago. By a light year or two, they??™re better."

And from the PJ Star 4/26/12, Dave Reynolds-
"Fields and Grier both appear to be difference makers. If Bradley continues to add the right players around them, happy days may be ahead for the Braves after a long dry spell."

I'm trying to think of something smart, funny, profound and/or snarky to say about the situation the BU athletic program finds themselves in but either I'm too under the weather to care at this time or there is just nothing else left to be said about it. The facts are pretty obvious. The results have been nothing short of hideous. What happened at the game was about as sad as I've ever seen. And I'm not talking about the basketball which is another story. I'm talking about their only being 4,000 people at the game. I'm talking about people shouting their displeasure with Geno throughout the game like "Geno Sucks" being among the nicest things said. I'm talking about people leaving when there's still 10 minutes to go in the game. Is Madame President that far gone removed from reality that she doesn't see what's going on??? How the Board of Directors allows this stuff to continue is beyond me. If they ran their businesses like Madame President runs Bradley they would be out of business in no time flat. The real sad thing about all of this is that it just doesn't seem to make any difference how loud our complaints are. It just seem to be falling on deaf ears.

                      Local Brave Fan

OMG I hope not. I have given up my 4 season tickets because I can no longer watch the product he puts on the floor. After many years I am no longer a season ticket holder of Braves Club member and will not donate to Bradley University until this man is gone.

If this is true I believe it will be the final nail in the coffin for the respectability of BU Basketball. We are officially the equivalent of Evansville.

After all weve been through Id see it as a waste to give up on ol Ford , I didnt wanna see Les go and I dont wanna see Geno go.

Were finally pushing the ball and pressing a lil, both are gonna improve.

Free throws and Inside shooting % will both go up were startting a lil far out from where the bigs need to be.

If Tramique is a total bust then hit the panic button! But ive got bad news haters hes not a bust! I feel headed into Valley play, to play on this team your gonna need to keep up w/ Sutherland.

My main worry is rebounding! But we should get that figured out also.... Effort will come the more invested these guys get into each other !

GO FAR GO BRADLEY! FORD TOUGH!

It MAY have been a 1-year extension after his first year for a total of 6 years. Not sure - but that is what MAY have happened after his first year. This may give him 2 more years after this year vs. 1 more year. If he was given an extension - it was in her office with a VERY closed door. I think majority agrees... it's time for her to go.
