I think I am up to the minute on the kids who have signed and submitted their LOI's
I am trying to go on official releases or confirmation by media & not on hearsay...such as the Des Moines Register just this morning confirming Dolven's LOI & the Indy Star confirming Harris Brown's
Here is the article from Griffin's own school - LINK
but I was waiting to see an official release from ISU on the rest...or at least something that confirms they DID sign...
however, the Pantagraph article now mentioning the kids in Florida does not say that they signed...
it says...
"The other three players who announced earlier that they would sign with ISU are from Florida"
..but we already knew that they had said they'd sign -
let me know if you now have confirmation they actually have signed and submitted their LOI's
BTW - Missouri State's Zach Cameron now says he will wait to sign, so I don't know if that means wait 'til spring or wait 'til later this week...

BTW - here's an answer to a commonly asked question about whether walk-ons can or are required to sign a letter of intent..
the answer is no - they are NOT allowed to...
a walk on cannot sign a letter of intent
"Under the terms of the National Letter of Intent
Program, an institution is strictly prohibited from
allowing you to sign a National Letter of Intent if you
are a walk-on.
In order for a National Letter of Intent it be consider
valid, the National Letter of Intent must be
accompanied by an athletic award letter which lists
the terms and conditions of the award, including the
amount and duration of the financial aid. Simply put,
there has to be an award including athletics aid for
there to be a valid National Letter of Intent."
and from the official National Letter of Intent organization:
"An institution is strictly prohibited from allowing you to sign an NLI if you are a non-scholarship walk-on.
In order for an NLI to be considered valid, it must be accompanied by an athletics financial aid award letter,
which lists the terms and conditions of the award, including the amount of the financial aid.
The athletics financial aid offer must be signed by both the prospective student-athlete and his or her parent or legal guardian.
Simply put, there must be an athletics scholarship for an NLI to be valid."

interesting facts and background for one of John Calipari's signees

one of the 2015 kids we are recruiting Tyrell Bellot-Green from Hill College (5-0) -
is putting up incredible numbers - He apparently is still not committed.
Last night he went for 29 pts & 10 rebs on 9-12 with 8-10 from 3-pt range! - He's averaging 62% from 3-pt - averaging 6 attempts/gam
Bellot Green is averaging 17 & 8 but Hill's replacement at PG for Tramique, Marcus Johnson is averaging
15 pts & 9 assists with a 15.3 Assist to Turnover Ratio (43 assists and only 3 turnovers thus far in five games )!
