I am sorry I do not know any of the Board's email addresses.

Here are their names, and a letter addressed to each Trustee, especially the Chairman, Douglas S. Stewart, c/o Bradley Board of Trustees, Bradley University, 1501 W Bradley Ave, Peoria, IL 61625 will be the best thing to do-

I'm going to call is as I see it, which is what I have always done, with no agenda. There was some incredibly bad basketball tonight. Historically bad. Fields and Bell are horrible. That being said, I think there is hope for this team. They will get better. Jones, Thomas, Morgan, & Cunningham will look completely different in a few weeks, and will have success when they can take a secondary role to Barnes, Grier, and Sutherland.

I hope. But, I have been hoping for over 18 years, with a brief glimmer between 2005 and 2007 :-(

This is just a delusional comment. The men that bring us this space are incapable of anything but pain and dismay after Bradley losses. The fact that this type of comment is even considered is a measure of where we are at... rock bottom. I for one appreciate that we have this place to come share in the highs and lows of something we are all passionate about.

I was pleasantly surprised at the level of talent and strong bodies. If these men can be organized to play competitive collegiate level basketball, they could be fun to watch and follow.

It's understandable. It's sour grapes from a fan who attacked anyone here who saw the failings of this program these last 3-4 years, and still cannot admit he was completely wrong and the others were right.

I could post about all the negatives from tonight, and I know that there were plenty of negatives tonight, but I don't really feel like beating a dead horse.
Instead, I'm going to focus on the very few positives tonight. There were not very many, admittedly, but there were a few. Omari Grier looks fully healthy this year, and like he could be a go scorer if need be. Nice shooting from him. In limited minutes, I felt like Nate gave us a lot. 4 blocks in 8 minutes was a huge life. He wasn't great, but if having him in the game means no easy layups for the other team, then I'm all for it. Bell, though he looked lost at times, was able to still manage 8 assists. I feel like he could be a good backup when Sutherland comes back. He just needs to play more under control. Also, Shaw brought good energy despite being hurt. When healthy, he should be better.

I don't want anyone to misunderstand what I'm saying here. Tonight's performance from this team is unacceptable, and if we don't play better defense, the additions of Barnes and Sutherland won't help anything. At this point, I don't think we are much better than a 7th or 8th place valley team, which at this stage of the Geno Ford era is terrible. All I'm saying is that I will continue to support this team, because I want them to succeed. This team seems like it is full of good kids, for the most part. Geno needs to get this team in gear, though, because his clock is ticking. If we don't show significant improvement, and soon, then we need a new coach.

This needs to be a wake up call for the administration. On monday I am sending a letter to each and every board member highlighting what I believe are some of the serious flaws with the current administration both on and off the basketball court.

Typically I doubt they would read a letter, but I'll put it on my law firms stationary and letter head, that might get it a second glance.

Will it do anything? doubtful. Am I going to get my displeasure on the record? YUP!

It doesn't need to be like this. It wasn't like this when I was in school.

On a side note, this "fallout" nonsense needs to stop, from all sides. If we bicker back and forth about who was "right" and who was "wrong" 3 or 4 years ago we are going to get NOWHERE. We need all the serious fans ON THE SAME SIDE, not trying to save face. The enemy is the state of the program, not other fans. I know I don't post much, but the trajectory of this team, this board, and our alma mater is just saddening.

Did anybody else find it odd that our three players who weren't available for this game due to injury/redshirt all were dressed in different styles? Barnes looked like he professional in a vest, bow tie and dress shirt/pants. Amerson was wearing training clothes: long sleeve bradley tshirt and sweatpants. And Sutherland looked like he had just come from the wiz kalifa concert wearing a multi colored tshirt and I think jeans.

I know that doesn't impact the game but it looks like the coach doesn't have a lot of control when all three are abiding by different dress codes.
                        Gotta stop feeding the trolls.

This is their baby, they can no longer point the finger and blame someone else. There's no Walt Lemon gonna walk thru that door to save us and no Dyricus to shut down the other team's scorers.

I almost felt like cheering for the team in the ugly orange uniforms - they were hustling, making shots, playing defense, passing, screening, boxing out...doing the things a team ought to do.
Their fans are having a totally different conversation, & I envy them.

It was noted and looked disrespectful - but it's just all the more that nobody seems to have control over this team.

This is a bad team - and the first step in any crisis is to admit you have a problem - something this admin, and certainly this local media haven't caught on to yet.

Report Card - not sure anything deserves even a D

                            the expected excuses...
they are a good team, they were hot, we were cold, we didn't finish, injuries...OMG

Per DR - "...paid crowd of 5,469 (about 4,000 actual)" - I disagree - way closer to 3000 and it's gonna get worse as the holidays & student break are coming, and teams with such drawing power as North Carolina A&T & Texas A&M-Corpus Christi roll into town
The people in charge & their enablers in the media & the fans cheering them on have nobody else to blame now

Barnes and one of the other two strolled into the arena about 6:15 with the team already on the floor.
