He sure didn't do much last night. And this is his 4th year of college. Can we expect him to improve if he hasn't by now?
I could understand if he was matched against a team like Kentucky or Kansas, but against last night's smallish, unathletic, vertically and pigmentally challenged opponents, he should have been able to dominate and have his way. Unfortunately, he did not, and he wasn't the only one.

"Shaw donned a walking boot for a sprained/bruised big toe
..the 6-foot-8 junior began experiencing pain in the toe Wednesday.
The coaches and training staff were considering holding him out of the Augustana game..
In 24 minutes of action, Shaw scored four points, grabbed four rebounds and blocked two shots, while committing three turnovers.
..today Mike’s pretty sore,” Ford said. “We probably played him more than we should have."
...so Shaw played injured? Wasn't that risking losing our starting center for real games by playing him in a "meaningless exhibition"?

Wow, people have really thin skin here. I see nothing wrong with the 100% accurate description. One might ask the question why Bradley does not seem to recruit such players. From PJ Star sports expert Kirk Wessler in his Jan. 10, 2012 column following 8th loss in a row at Drake-
"Yes, the Braves are better than they were when the season started two months ago. By a light year or two, they??™re better."
And from the PJ Star 4/26/12, Dave Reynolds-
"Fields and Grier both appear to be difference makers. If Bradley continues to add the right players around them, happy days may be ahead for the Braves after a long dry spell."

I guess I feel a little different about Shaw. I want to see him play when he does not have the foot injury bothering him. I am willing to give the benefit of a doubt. However, I am probably not a good source as I didn't see the game last night. I should be attending the next four home games.

Cannot believe you said that. Absolutely uncalled for and totally out of line. Guess im not surprised considering the source
I expect this comment to be removed shortly and some sort of ban because it's opinions don't align with the board admins and that is fine. Hopefully the admins of this board learn that such comments are reprehensible and lack any sort of class.Walk on, Walk on

In this case he called it like it is, or was. If Shaw was as good as advertised, he should have dominated. The person you are nit-picking has been going to, and supporting BU games since probably before you were born. Guess what, not all of our players have been the same color. He supports them all. What part of illegal don't you understand?

But Chico...Shaw should have dominated because of going up against D-3 competition....not because of skin color....that part of the comment was wrong and over the top....I guess I'm still a little shocked it was posted....
and I have been on record many times saying this country is over the top on political correctness

I thought we were mature enuf to know what he meant -
when major movie studios can produce "White Men Can't Jump" and TV shows spoof guys playing basketball all the time - then why such thin skin here?
..or do you honestly think it just mere coincidence that every player Geno Ford has ever signed has been Black, yet never once - ever - have I seen a single fan anywhere even mention it - we just want good play.
