Frankamp leaves Kansas, will he end up back home and play for WSU? He is the leading scorer in Kansas high school basketball history. He would be a star in the MVC.

The only 2 offers he had were Kansas and Central Michigan, though that had more to do with him committing early (before his junior year in HS). Wichita was recruiting him, but I think he might fit better in a system like Creighton's.Originally posted by mexicobufan View Post -
Despite his lack of athleticism, he is quite the player. He was ranked as a top 40 player nationally in high school. While he and his family often attended WSU games, they are HUGE KU fans, and as soon as the Jayhawks offered, it was a done deal.
The concern is that he didn't really get along with his team mates and was leaving to be more of an offensive centerpiece, despite being a likely rotational player as a sophomore. Would WSU really have more PT for him next year? Not much if Baker sticks around. WSU is already at 15 a schollies for next year. His Dad is also an overbearing prick...so there's that to deal with.
Other rumored schools besides WSU: Creighton, Wake Forest (now coached by x-Jayhawk Danny Manning), Colorado (coached by x-Jayhawk Tad Boyle), and Northwestern.Comment

Connor Frankamp transfers to Wichita State
He will be eligible after the first semester next season, and have 2 1/2 seasons of eligibility with WSU.Comment
