  • Doug McDermott scores 12 in NBA debut for Bulls

The Bulls clobbered the New York Knicks in NYC in the season opener for both teams. The Bulls had a 53-43 lead over the Knicks at halftime, but then had a huge 3rd quarter to pull away and win 104-80. They lead by 35 points with 5 minutes left in the game.
Doug McDermott played 24 minutes off the bench despite the Bulls frontcourt depth. He was 5-9 from the field, and 2-5 from three for 12 points.
    A nice debut for Doug.

Knicks' Cleanthony Early is having nagging knee problems and will have surgery and be out at least one month...
