The Fall presentation of the Resource Committee took place last week. And the news continues to present a difficult road for BU. This faculty committee presented the ongoing poor state of affairs.
Apparently the financial information has not been as transparent that was previously provided to the committee. This year in addition to the bloated athletics budget and the Office of the President over staffing, the BU Police dept was newly mentioned as having a growing budget.
So the cuts are coming in academics...all departments are being asked to study forced cuts along with very large required cuts in Athletics and Administration.
Gary Anna responded at the end of the meeting, commenting that the administration's interpretation of the data was different.
