      Big Ten preseason poll

      Place..Team..voting
      1. Wisconsin 378
      2. Ohio State 322
      3. Michigan State 305
      4. Nebraska 299
      5. Michigan 286
      6. Minnesota 226
      7. Iowa 214
      8. Illinois 196
      9. Indiana 163
      10. Maryland 162
      11. Purdue 95
      12. Penn State 84
      13. Northwestern 78
      14. Rutgers 27

Each school was represented in the polling by two voters - but in all, only 27 ballots were received (no explanation why one was missing)
BUT - Rutgers' 27 votes represents Rutgers getting every single one of the last place votes.
And if Northwestern is as bad as they predict - or if Nate Taphorn doesn't get much consideration for playing time, then..
I sure hope we keep one scholarship open -

Interesting to see Larry Nance, Jr. picked as the Preseason Player of the Year for the Mountain West Conference.
Larry Nance, Jr. picked Wyoming over Bradley back on April 29, 2011-

He was a late spring recruit in 2011, in Geno's first month as coach at BU. Geno had recruited him at Kent State, then pursued him after getting the Bradley job. Nance was not highly recruited out of high school near Akron, Ohio, and was thought to be a "project". But he has turned into one of the best big men in the country. Too bad we missed on him.
