Congrats to the BU Men's Golf Team as they defended their title at the Butler Invitational in Indianapolis, Indiana, only the 3rd title since 1996. The Braves were 11 shots back going into today's round and rallied to win it. They shot rounds of 283, 4th lowest in school history, 302 and 288 for a team total of 873 which was one stroke better than Evansville. Senior Seth Trolia led the way for the Braves as he carded rounds of 69, 78 and 67 to finish 2nd. His 67 in today's round was one stroke off the school record. Junior Lyle Burns had rounds of 69, 75 and 72 to shoot 216 and finished tied for 4th. Senior Danny Masrin shot a 222 to tie for 14th, his 8th straight tournament with a top 20 finish. That was their final fall tournament. They won't play again until February.

I forgot to mention that the women's team was playing in the 54-hole Bearcat Classic in Cincinnati, Ohio on Monday and Tuesday but because of rain they were only able to get in 18 holes before they called it. Bradley shot 327 to finish 14th out of 16. Danielle Lemek once again led the Braves as she shot a 77 to finish tied for 16th, her 19th straight top 20 finish. The women's last fall tournament is at the Pat Bradley Invitational in Sarasota, Florida on November 2-4.
