  • Paul Bayer transfers to....

Olivet Nazarene University. He will practice with the team 2nd semester and play next year with 4 years elgibility. I'm sure everyone remembers him from Moline and signed with Lehigh.
A great get for ONU obviously. Crean offered for him to walk-on but Bayer really like what the ONU environment had to offer.
Sorry for no link but I am link-challenged.

Also ONU plays Fri and Sat. at Northwoods University-Palm Beach and if they win friday would probably play Northwoods where ex Villanova coach Rollie Massimino currently coaches.

I'm leaving tomorrow so you all have a great and safe New Year

Keep us informed on how he does, lefty.
There was already a report of his transfer to ONU a couple weeks ago with some subsequent discussion:

and here is a link to some other coverage of Bayer's transfer:

T...you know I don't pay attention very well...that's why I never finished college....I'm just running around in my own little world.

funny thing is from what I understand the team didn't know it at all. I also see someone said Lavender was transfering to U of I Springfield.....he was telling everyone SIU-E but I guess he could have changed his mind. After talking to Micah in early December I got the impression he wasn't going to play anywhere...but again he could change his mind.

Actually, lefty, I appreciate your input, because I know you told me Micah was going to SIU-E and yet someone else had apparently heard and posted Illinois-Springfield.
I actually don't know and would go with your knowledge on that.
Is the ONU roster at full strength, if you know what I mean??
        Everyone back from injury?
