Promotions ?

Wonder what promotions we'll have this year...
...some have been extremely successful in the past and we need some help boosting fan interest........

Remember our first "Blackout game"??
It was a rousing success even tho we lost to ISU -
we drew an enormous crown rivalling the largest ever for an BU-ISU contest!

Other promotions like the White-outs, the trading card giveaways, etc...have been good,
and I think the halftime acts like Quick Change have run their course so I wouldn't put a lot of faith in those helping draw fans...
I would hope the planning is already in gear but it's not too late to consider another Blackout or something else interesting...

That Feb. 9, 2009 "Blackout Game" was a huge success, other than the close loss to a good ISU team. Both teams were tied for 3rd in the MVC before that game, and the rivalry was at or near it's peak. It was also the first game that Bradley ever wore their black uniforms, and that was not announced to the public in advance.
I recall that Bradley even warmed up with their usual uniforms, then changed right before game time, so when the players took the floor right before the game, fans were surprised to see the new black uniforms.

By the way, what ever happened to the alternate black uniforms? Bradley wore them a couple times a year for a few years after that 2009 game, but I don't recall them wearing them last year at all, and maybe the year before. Has there been a change at Bradley?
I recall Ken Kavanagh was staunchly against ever using the black uniforms, but Mike Cross liked them and wasted little time getting them and using them in that Feb. 9, 2010 game (he started as AD at Bradley in January, 2010). What changed?

but please - do not bring back the pink uniforms...
