From what we have had documented in past threads...
Some of the lowest European leagues and leagues in South America pay very poorly so most American kids won't even play at that level..
but the mid-level leagues overseas pay $50-80K and up for better players..
and the really top leagues like where Cellus is playing pay in the $100-200K range but the big time superstars may get way more - in the millions since that what they'd have to pay to keep them in Europe vs. the NBA

As noted, with a few exceptions, salaries for Americans start around $65,000 per seasons and many earn well over $100,000 if they are valuable to the team. Also, the European club teams almost always provide a car and an apartment, and expense & meal money in addition to the salary. Plus in many counties, their taxes are paid, too. And American players usually have their travel expenses to and from the US paid, including a trip home during their midseason break.

There are a few web articles that report the average salary overseas for Americans-
Answer (1 of 3): Overseas pros make a huge range of salaries: The Top In Euro league: the best 30 players make somewhere between 1 and 3 million USD per year In the top national leagues such as the ACB, VTB, ESAKE, BSL etc. most players will make between 5–10k a month On top of this: house, c...

As a fringe NBA player, would you rather try your luck in the D-League, or head overseas for the opportunity of more playing time and a larger paycheck?

At the other extreme, Anthony Parker, who was one of the top players in Europe for many years, had multi-million dollar contracts for much of his European career.
