Last Saturday - in the football game between Idaho & Florida...
...there was a downpour & lightning storm...
the game was suspended before it was even begun, but when the lightning & rain cleared, they tried one play on the field then the field was declared unplayable.
They then tried to decide if the game should be replayed or resumed but in the end, the decision is to call it a "no-contest" and not resume or replay it.
Idaho still takes home the $975,000 guarantee even though only one play took place!
Anyone who holds a ticket or who bought one through Ticketmaster or the university is entitled to a refund...
BUT...anyone who bought tickets elsewhere, a 3rd party, scalpers, ebay, etc...
is completely out of luck and have no way to get a refund.
