A report went out last PM that former Purdue star (and one-time Bradley recruit) and now an NBA player with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Robbie Hummel had become a rapper and was about to release his first album.

He apparently announced on Twitter:
Excited to announce that I??™ve been in the studio grinding and have finally finished my first hip hop studio album, ROB: Road to Redemption. Look for it in stores and on iTunes this fall. #getmysnareup #turnmyheadphonesup!!!


But his rap career was short-lived. This story appeared a short time ago on the Indianapolis Star website
