Preseason Game Announced

The other allowable preseason contest will be used for a closed scrimmage, but that is all that I can say about that.

no word yet on who will be Bradley's closed scrimmage opponent, but several schools' opponents are known..

The Bradley closed scrimmage will be against University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
It will probably be some time early in that first week of November.
We should hear soon the date and whether it will be in Peoria or Milwaukee.


Milwaukee finished last season 21-14 overall, and 7-9 in the Horizon League, good for a tie for 5th place. Their final RPI was 135 (Bradley's was 269).

They lost 2 starters, but the 2 they lost were Jordan Aaron and Kyle Kelm, their top 2 scorers.

one report said Nebraska handled Kansas State in their secret scrimmage Saturday
..this report says it was a tie for a 30 minute man-to-man game

there's an open practice Wednesday hopefully a lot of people will attend...
however - judging from how many people I meet who have not heard of it or are unfamiliar about the details - it seems many are still waiting for more word on events like the Itoo or Red/White that are not going to occur

can you believe they hold it as an open scrimmage- then encourage people to come & watch yet there's barely a seat available - everyone is standing, backs against the wall or leaning over the rails - bizarre!
