You have to be suspicious when "they" rank Wichita's arena among the worst in the MVC..
as far as arenas for watching basketball, there are few in the nation where the fans get as good & as comfortable of a view of the game than Wichita

BUT - the author who has ranked those arenas doesn't really seem to be a basketball fan nor give a hoot about the actual facility or the watching the game...as that seems to have never factored into his scoring.
Instead- he lists "food & beverages" as the first criteria listed and in his detail - that's what he seems to use primarily to boost Bradley's score.
...then goes on from there to list things like parking, restrooms, then such incredibly vague criteria such as "atmosphere"... none of which he says much good about.
So they base their ranking of Carver on one guy who wrote the review...who scored kinda high despite admitting there wasn't much outstanding beyond the food. go figure.

BTW - that ranking is actually from last season and as I recall, I think we already had a discussion going back then on this board...
but either way, it's already kinda old news

Beer can make anything seem better. Civic center has that going for it.
        Gotta stop feeding the trolls.

Been to many arenas and I think Carver is a great place to watch a game. Haven't been to Indiana State in many years, but I always liked their arena.
What part of illegal don't you understand?

Loyola ranked higher than Wichita St....laughable
            You can't take this seriously.

Even Redbird Arena ranked worse than Carver...sorry guys, but our arena pails to Redbird Arena...Carver is nice, but not #58...we probably crack the top 100 though.

remember, their main criteria was menu items and beer sales....so Carver beats a lot of the Valley

Wouldn't know. Our group quit going to BU games at ISU after the way we were treated by fans AND employees at Horton.

$9 beer is not something the PCC should be rewarded for.

We used to sneak it into Kiel in St. Louis in the good old days.
