  • BU - Notre Dame soccer Night

I have been trying to contact someone at BU regarding the BU-N.D. Soccer Alumni Night but I cannot find anyone answering my calls. I tried the number provided on the web site for the event and after many rings received a recorded message that they were out of the office. I tied the BU Athletic Dept. and received the same message. I wonder if anyone is at home at BU?
This is a big event but BU doesn't respond to calls regarding it.

This is a sad state of affairs at Bradley University. No one knows who is in charge. Call PJ, no call Brett, better yet just show up and you might get in.
This symbolizes the problem at Bradley

I find your post somewhat confusing. Is your question simply about buying tickets to the game? If so, did you call the ticket office (309-677-2625)? I am not aware of a BU-ND Alumni Night, but questions regarding Bradley Alumni activities probably can be best answered by calling the Bradley Alumni Association (309-677-2240). Finally, if you do find it a struggle to find information related to Bradley Athletics, I encourage you to email or call me and I will happily seek out the answer.

As for the just show up comment, for this game, I highly recommend buying your tickets in advance Monday or Tuesday at Renaissance Coliseum. Advance sales already are touching 2000 and we anticipate a large walk-up Tuesday night at the stadium.

                wow - over 2000!
I've been to a couple games when the attendance was right at 2000 and more and it gets loud...

                  BU-Notre Dame Soccer night

Bobby P....I am astonished that you are/were unaware of the BU-ND Alumni Night at Shea Stadium since its been on BU web sites for the past few weeks. It is advertised to begin at 5:00 and include "tailgating", Baloons, Avantis gondolas, a Jim Mattson ESPN live radio broadcast, and more!
How in the world could the Athletic Dept. be unaware of this event?
A telephone contact number is included and alums are asked to RSVP by Fri., Aug. 15 and register online or by calling 800-952-8258.
I guess the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

I don't understand why people post exasperated questions on a message board without contacting Mr. Parker first. His contact information is readily available. Give the guy a chance to do his job.

Well, Wiz, now that I have a little more clarity of the question you ask: the Bradley University Alumni Association, which is a separate organization from the athletic department, is sponsoring a tailgate party at Shea Stadium Tuesday night. This web page does have quite a bit of information regarding the event:http://www.bualum.org/s/1329/SocialI...=13&calcid=664

The website info indicated registration was required by Friday, but it can't hurt to give them a call Monday.

I reiterate, if you have a question about Bradley Athletics, call or email me directly. I don't read every thread on the message boards every day, but I do answer my phone and return email and voicemail messages every day.
