Just read on the PJS website that the Rivermen will have all weekend fights, I mean games, this coming season with 11 of them on Saturday. Where does that leave Bradley?

Schedule
I would suggest that those of us who would like to see this impass between the Civ. Ctr. and Bradley resolved so that we can have a reasonable number of Saturday games, e mail, call, or write Mayor Ardis and ask him to intervene and try to get the parties together and negotiate some reasonable solution to this problem. Also, do the same with your councilmen. IMO, although I dislike the Ren. Ctr., the alternative might be for BU to schedule all home games in the RC.

-the massive changes and so many candidates turning US down!
-the firings, hirings, the way the personnel changes went down - losing lawsuits, and the way the contracts were resolved
-the horrible scheduling
-the record losses, 30-pt blowouts, humiliating home losses to 340 RPI teams
-the shifting of games to the women's basketball gym
-the forcing of long time fans in the lower bowl out of their seats and move them elsewhere
-the sharp ticket price increase
-dropping the summer and fall events - even the long time favorite ones plus the huge attendance decline
-now this spat with the Civic Center that does nobody any good...
fans have made their feelings known - but does it not seem like those in charge simply have made their minds up,
they have an agenda, and they will proceed no matter what?
Fans are dying by the thousands to be treated to good, quality basketball - BU has the greatest and most loyal fans...
They will fill a 12,000 seat arena if a decent team & opponent were just there and the game was scheduled so they could get to it...
...but but are disappearing...

speaking of the Illini...as you recall, they were looking for a deal to play five of their 2015-16 games somewhere other than their home arena while renovations were proceeding....
some of the options included Peoria Civic Center, Bloomington (Redbird Arena), NIU or Rockford, and possibly even Moline, Chicago area, SIU, or Springfield... etc..
But - I have heard (but nothing is confirmed) from a well placed source that the choice has been made or is close and that they are leaning towards playing all those games here....LINK
It's among the smallest of the arenas under consideration, but also among the closest to U of I.....
but they won't have the hassle of dealing with competing teams, especially D-I college teams that would complicate matters of dates and demands to play the instate opponents...playing on some other team's home floor with vague demands on future scheduling or payback complicates the plans.
