Louis "Red" Klotz...died at age 93....
he played 11 games in 1948 with the Baltimore Bullets...
but his real fame was with the Harlem Globetrotters - or more accurately, with the Washington Generals, the perennial Globetrotter opponents...
In his more than 40 years with the Generals - he only won 2 games - losing over 14,000 (as both player & coach), but still has his jersey retired and is in the Trotters Hall of Fame...
And though accurate records are not available, he is thought to have scored over 50,000 points in his career (he played until he was 68 years old!!), dwarfing anyone from the NBA!
